Amy joined Olivet as an adjunct faculty in 2014. Amy obtained her Masters in Nursing from University of Phoenix, Bachelors in Health Administration from Governors State University, Associates in Applied Science Registered Nursing and Associates in Arts and Science from Kankakee Community College. She participated in the first Illinois Organization of Nurse Leaders Fellow program.
Amy is a nurse for more than 21 years. For almost 17 years Amy has administrative and leadership experience in an acute care environment; including acute rehabilitation, wound care, medical, surgical, palliative and critical care nursing. Her varied career focus includes implementing change; championing pilots, developing new graduates, ensuring proper education and training of nurses, providing direction and leadership, customer service, employee retention, regulatory compliance, and financial management. Amy maintains relationships with staff and physicians to provide quality care throughout her organization.
Amy and her husband Matt have three children. All three children are active in school and sports keeping us very busy.
