Dr. Lippert has been working with candidates in the READ program at SGCS since 2008.  She works with educators who aspire to be reading specialists as they pursue a Masters in Reading.  Dr. Lippert teaches all the courses in the READ program and supervises candidates during the final practicum.

Prior to teaching at Olivet, she was a reading specialist/literacy coach for several years at Park Forest/Chicago Heights School District 163.  She has numerous years servicing students at the primary and intermediate levels.

Dr. Lippert has taught graduate students in the Interdisciplinary Studies Masters in Education program at National-Louis University.  She has taught Developmental Reading and English courses at Prairie State College for numerous years.

Dr. Lippert has presented at professional conferences such as IRA and IRC.

Prior to becoming a reading specialist, Dr. Lippert taught at the primary levels working with students as a self-contained classroom teacher in Park Forest, Chicago, and Cicero.

She is a member of Phi Gamma Sigma from Nova Southeastern University since 2004 and Biltmore Who’s Who, an honored member of registry for executives and professionals since 2007.

In her time away from teaching, Dr. Lippert attends the Church of South Lake Nazarene. She enjoys national and international travels, spending time with family and friends, frequenting new restaurants, exercising and watching Netflix. She and her husband, Rick, have two adolescents Adam and Alison who both plan to attend Olivet Nazarene University in the near future.
