Maggie has taught part-time for Olivet since January of 2014, and is retired from teaching at Highland Community College. Prior to becoming a nurse, she was a paramedic. She earned her Associate degree in nursing from Sauk Valley Community College, and both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in nursing from Regis University, based in Colorado, in their online program. She worked at KSB Hospital in Dixon for 18 years, in various nursing roles, including the Emergency Dept, and as a Nurse Advocate. She currently works part-time as a Registered Nurse for Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, IL.
Maggie is active in her local church, and is a CASA volunteer. She lives in a rural area between Dixon and Oregon, IL. Maggie's primary interests are her family, helping others, reading, gardening, and holistic nursing.
