Marta Jovic is a professor at Olivet Nazarene University since 2007 and a family nurse practitioner since 2011. Her nursing career started with a completion of an Associates Degree in Nursing, May of 2003. From there she went on to get her Bachelors in Nursing and then her Masters in Nursing Education from Olivet Nazarene University, Bourbonnais IL. After 3 years, she decided to go back to school to get her Post Graduate Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of St. Francis, Joliet IL. She holds a national board certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She enjoys teaching and currently works in a large family practice for Advocate Healthcare. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two boys (Adam and David) and husband Ray. As a Christian, she emphasizes the importance of keeping a close relationship with God and with him nothing is impossible. Marta enjoys working as a family nurse practitioner for the challenge of continued learning and it’s a growing field with endless opportunities for all different areas of interest.
