Dr. Orr has been an adjunct with Olivet Nazarene University since 2002. During that time, he has taught graduate courses in educational leadership, student assessment, research and has served as a practicum supervisor for aspiring administrators. He has also served as a committee member for one of Olivet’s first doctoral candidates. He currently teaches on-line graduate courses in the Teacher Leader in Education (TLED) program.
He is a member of the National Science Teachers Association and the Northern Illinois Science Educators organization (NISE) where he assists with the planning and organization of conferences held throughout the year.
His previous education career included being an Earth Science and Physics teacher, a science department chair and the Director of Instruction and Data Analysis at a large suburban high school district.
Dr. Orr and his wife, Kathleen, have two grown sons, Brian and Matthew along with their spouses Xiaomeng and Lorin.
