Program Description
The Ed.D. in Ethical Leadership is a terminal degree designed for the working practitioner. The curriculum is a stimulating and challenging course of study with a focus on ethical leadership. Current research is combined with real world experience to provide relevant and rigorous higher learning.
Each participant is challenged to become a positive influence within his or her chosen field. The Ed.D. program as a whole provides group cohesion, collegial interaction and cultural experiences that foster respectful relationships.
Program Format
The design, format and focus of the program are geared toward the working professional and lifelong learner. The instructional delivery system includes lectures, group work, technology, presentation and extended time beyond actual class meetings or reflection. Learners participate with faculty and cohort members in scholarly and innovative activities. Mandatory class sessions meet one Saturday per month. An on-campus residency period is also required during the three summers of the program.
Admission into the program requires an official transcript showing your master’s degree from an accredited institution and a two-page résumé. The Ed.D. curriculum must be successfully completed with a GPA of 3.5 or above for graduation.
