Dr. Crofford serves as Adjunct Professor for Christian Leadership in the MAPL program.

Ordained in the Church of the Nazarene in 1984, he has served in a variety of ministry roles, including associate pastor, minister of youth and music, and several pastorates in Michigan, Kansas, and North Carolina. He currently is lead pastor of the Montana Avenue Church of the Nazarene in Cincinnati, OH.

He has also served the denomination in a missionary capacity, having directed the Séminaire Théologique Nazaréen d’Haiti (Haiti Nazarene Theological College) in the early ‘90s. Currently, he directs the French Language Advisory Committee for the Church of the Nazarene, which is tasked with translation and development of French language materials for use in ministerial situations in the Francophone world.

Married since 1977, he and his wife, Cindy, have three sons—Phil, Chris, and Ben, as well as five grandchildren.  He enjoys physical exercise including cycling and running, gardening, and is passionate about Cincinnati pro sports including the Reds and Bengals.
