Dr. Williamson currently serves in the Institutional Advancement division at Olivet Nazarene University, as the Executive Director of Corporate Engagement.  Before this assignment he was the Dean of the School of Graduate & Continuing Studies at Olivet from 2010-2012.

Prior to his service at ONU, he was a Professor of Organizational Leadership and Associate Dean at the George Jetter School of Business at Mount Vernon Nazarene University in Mount Vernon, Ohio. He served at MVNU from 1994-2010 as an administrator, faculty member, and Associate Dean.

A 1984 graduate of Olivet Nazarene University, he continued his education as a graduate teaching assistant in the Department of Speech Communication at Ball State University while completing an M.A. degree in Speech Communication in 1987. In 2002, he completed the Doctor of Education degree (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership from the University of Sarasota, Florida.  In 2007, he completed a certification program at Indiana University in Fundraising Management, and in 2008-09, was a post-doctoral student at The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business, Department of Marketing and Logistics.

His work experience prior to leading and teaching at MVNU was in marketing, recruiting and enrollment management for two private colleges in Indiana, and Oklahoma. 

Dr. Williamson has taught graduate courses such as: Management Communication, Organizational Behavior, Change Management, Foundations of Management, Strategic Management, Management Ethics & Leadership.

Besides his administrative and teaching accomplishments, he has served as a presenter at numerous national conferences on subjects related to leadership, marketing, and student success. In addition, he has served in a management consultant role to higher education, business, and industry. He brings a total of over 25 years of professional experience in higher education and leadership.
