After graduation from Coal City High School, Jori attended Lewis University and achieved a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. She began her nursing career in the Intensive Care Unit at Silver Cross Hospital, where she remained for the next 18 years, with the last 10 of those years, acting as the Shift Coordinator in the ICU. Also during that time, Jori attended Lewis University again and achieved both a Master's of Science in Nursing (Nursing Administration) and a Master's of Business Administration (Healthcare Administration). In 2008, Jori accepted a position at Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers as the Manager of Education, and in 2013, she was promoted to the position of Director of Cardiovascular Services and Education which is her current position today. In her current position, she provides managerial oversight over 7 different departments, which include the Cath Lab, Cardio-Diagnostics, Cardiac Rehab, Pulmonary Rehab, Education, Diabetes Education Center, and the dietitians. Also in 2012, Jori began teaching for Olivet Nazarene University in the RNBSN program. Her vast amount of experience and education, allows for an excellent learning opportunity for her students.
