Dr. Kristy Ingram teaches in Olivet's undergraduate and graduate programs. In the undergraduate program, she teaches composition, creative writing, visual literacy, and several ESL courses on teaching strategies and cultural proficiency. Dr. Ingram also serves as the ESL practicum coordinator in Olivet's undergraduate ESL endorsement program, and as the ESL & Bilingual Program Coordinator for graduate programs. She holds a BA in English writing and literature, an MA in English, and a PhD in Education with a specialization in ESL.
Dr. Ingram has been teaching ESL on 4 continents for the past 10 years! She lived in Southeast Asia for 2 years, where she taught at the Royal University of Law and Economics in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She has led ESL camps in the United States, China, Korea, Southeast Asia, Africa, and France.
