Dr. Gray is an Adjunct Professor of Nursing for the School of Graduate and Continuing Studies. She graduated with her B.S.N in 1994 from Eastern Michigan University in 1994 and then completed her M.S.N. in 1998 at University of Toledo. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in educational studies at Eastern Michigan University. Dr. Gray is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and a fellow in the Excellence in Government Fellows Program.
She has worked in a variety of areas, including medical-surgical nursing, telemetry step-down, and the medical intensive care unit. She continues to remain active in nursing by working as an outpatient nurse practitioner in the primary care setting and precepts graduate level-nursing students. She has worked in the nursing field for over 30 years. In addition to her work as a nurse, Dr. Gray is a published researcher and has presented professionally in Michigan and Louisiana.
On a personal note, Dr. Gray loves to travel in her spare time. She is married and has two grown children (one son and one daughter). She enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.
