Dr. Toni A. Eason, MS, PHCNS, COHN-S, CEAS, RN-BC, FAAOHN is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, who received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Howard University and dual Master of Science degrees from the University of Maryland in both Community/Public Health Nursing and Health Policy. A Nursing Doctorate from Rush University was granted, with a focus on Leadership and the Business of Health Care. She also obtained a Post-Master’s Certificate in Nursing Informatics from Walden University. Dr. Eason is also a Fellow of the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses.

Dr. Eason is a seasoned nurse with greater than 17 years occupational/environmental and health science related experience. She is passionate about occupational health, evidenced by certifications as a: Clinical Specialist in Community/Public Health Nursing, Advanced Drug Testing Manager, Occupational Health Nurse Specialist, Workers’ Compensation Nurse, Informatics Nurse and Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist.

She has held a variety of employment experiences, to include: international health nursing, public health nursing, home health nursing, pediatric nursing, case management, occupational/environmental health nursing, geriatric nursing, psychiatric nursing, health care leadership/management, forensic nursing, nursing informatics and health education.

Dr. Eason’s education, employment experiences and pursuit of continuing education have contributed to a career dedication to quality health care delivery and leading employee wellness, safety and health promotions.
